Just as the title says, "It takes a TRUE FRIEND to carry a TRUE-SELF out!" Today, I wanted to discuss about TRUE FRIENDs.
Although I did encountered some really awkward social problems in the story that I mentioned in the previous blog post, I still think finding a true friend is essential for everyone, no matter for what purpose. In an old Chinese saying, " At home, you rely on family. But when you're outside, you rely on friends." That is very true. Everyone needs a friend, in fact, EVERYONE DESERVES A FRIEND!!! I guess finding a typical friend could be easy, cause I know from my experience. There's just something that I have never even told my "so-called" "friends" how I "really" feel about them. Have you ever felt like this? People thought you are with some group of friend, but seriously, you are not. You be in it because you are afraid of losing one of them. I felt like that before. And normally these friends are the ones that are like smiling at you when you walk by on the hall. And ALWAYS, when they encounter a problem, they come and find you. These problems are not even like down-to-heart problems that they really want to share with you. Normally, my "so-called" "friends", when they actually come up to me, they wanted something. They want something to help their grades to get up, they want the answers to works they have to finish in school, they want the details that they should have learned in class instead they came up to me and ask for stuff. EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! They just want those... Sometimes, I just want to be a typical high school girl, I don't want to be seemed like a SCHOOL NERD.... But, sadly, I always pushed myself hard on school work, because I'm trained to be that way... I almost never slack off on any work, and tried to get all the perfect scores on assignment... I mean, that is just the way I am...
But, some people are just different from those "so-called" "friends", I did found many down-to-earth girls who I really called the my TRUE FRIENDS. You know, a true friend is someone who came up to you because they wanted to talk to you, not someone one came up to you for a purpose(bad). I found some TRUE FRIENDS as I go along the way(transferring from schools to schools). They came up to me to make me laugh, discuss their secrets, and just having a great time together. THAT IS WHAT I CALLED A TRUE FRIEND. We ALMOST ALWAYS spend time together and just talk whatever that comes to mind. We don't "purposely" discuss homework, and we just talk and talk without knowing that it's class time. That is what TRUE FRIENDS are about. A TRUE FRIEND accepts who you are. They can careless about your look, and tell you what they REALLY FEEL ABOUT YOU. Not like those "so-called""friends" who tried hard to ingratiate you in exchange of something valuable from you.
To sum up today(oopsies, I wrote too much, again), I just want to say, I know it's very hard to find a true friend, but you just have to speak out for them, and you will find them someday. DONT EVER TRY TO PRETEND YOU ARE SOMEONE THAT IS NOT YOU!!!! A TRUE FRIEND ACCEPTS THE "REAL" YOU!!!
Song of the day:
For the spirit of ANTS, I LOVE the song True Friend by Hannah Montana. Inspire by the song very much, so I can have the courage to seek out for TRUE FRIENDS. Hope you can be inspired, too! :)
