Is the opinion of the majority always right?

Haha, just a pretty ironic picture that I found on Google when I Googled picture opinion. I guess it would be a pretty great picture to get the ANTS into the topic that I will be writing about, today.


So, I was just chatting with one of my best friends today, and we suddenly came up with this topic when we are discussing some social scenarios that are in our school. I guess this topic is very familiar to me because it was one of my SAT essay practice assignment(not cool, but I have to say the Essay section in the SAT is probably my favorite, just an F.Y.I) I'm pretty much a quiet(not) observer in our school, I'm always sitting aside and watching people when they are socializing. I guess I effectively analyzed some great patterns when my classmates are socializing. I saw people who normally hang out with each other have the same exact opinion ( not occasionally, but purposely). I did say that people held common interest would become TRUE FRIENDS easier, but I did not mean people who always hold the same EXACT opinions(that is just not natural, I suppose they are the "so-called" "friends", moreover, THAT IS NOT THE SPIRIT OF ANTS!!) Really ANTS would have their own opinion base on their own perception, NOT OTHERS' PERCEPTION, or else they are not showing their TRUE-SELF. Anyways, not my main focus today. I want to share a story that I and my friend saw today.

To give these characters in the story some privacy on my blog, I am not going to name anyone, but I will say is that it's a really beautiful story between a great teacher and a student.

The story goes like this. This down-to-earth teacher loves every single students in the school, keep in mind that the teacher is female. She warn girls not to wear short skirts and skinny jeans all the time, because she wants to protect her loved ones from the scary world. I mean let's just face it, there are guys around every where who just walk around and won't be able to control their eyes to do inappropriate stuff. (well, I guess not every guy, but many guys, true story) Guys check out girls, REAL checking out, especially girls who love to "show themselves". But this teacher, knowing that the girls who have been warned about the inappropriate dressing will hate her to death, but she just loves all her students that she rather keep the girls safe and be hated than to do nothing to protect the girls. I just LOVE what the teacher is doing for these students, SHE HAS A REAL WARMING HEART!! <3

This is where today's topic comes into the play. The girls who were warned started to spread bad words about the loving teacher. Like I said, people spend time in an imaginary group, naturally accept what other says, because they are afraid to be their TRUE- SELF (NO ANTS ALLOWED!!) Eventually, most of they girls hated the teacher, just because a couple warnings given to these rumors spreaders(not sure if that is even a word, but you get the point). Well, I still see people standing outside of the box, not wanting to compromise with the idea that the loving teacher is an evil (raise hands!Oh, That's me! :)) The opinion of the majority is not always right, people who decided to believe the girls are just afraid to be their TRUE-SELF and scared that they would one day be kicked out of a group if they "decided to have their OWN MIND".

The TRUTH here is that the teacher is seriously, down-to-earth, loving, care for others. A student went into her office for transfer information. And she was very generous that she decided to offer a warm offer, and invited me to join the prayer to pray for the student so that her transfer will be done smoothly. The student told me that the teacher had tears in her eyes when she finished the quick, warming prayer. And she was never a teacher of the student. THE OPINION OF THE MAJORITY IS THEN TO BE SAID NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. I really don't see how can a teacher be called "evil" by the students, can have such a warm heart and an influential smile. I was really touched by her prayer and her action. <3

To sum up today, I just want to show my ANTS that DO NOT BE TRICKED INTO THINKING THAT IF EVERYONE THINKS SOMETHING IS TRUE THEREFORE IT IS TRUE, SPEAK FOR YOURSELF, AND BE YOUR TRUE-SELF!!! This is the spirit of ANTS!! :)
