Enough with the TRUE FRIEND topic, I guess I will come back to it someday later. I feel like it's a good time to move on to other topics so this blog won't be too dry. After all, I want to use this blog to express anything that I haven't really told anyone about.
So, since I happened to be writing this blog post in Ikea, I guess I want to talk about my weird thoughts about money.(I actually don't see a connection here, I guess I just kinda relate the thought that so many people rather crowded in Ikea because of unlimited refills and a/c, at least that is what I am here for :P But that's another story for another day). I guess not many people know that I am like really very concern about everything I am spending and if my spending is worth the value of what I am getting. I guess that's pretty common for everyone, well, pretty much except spoiled rich people, I thought. But since I go to private schools from the beginning of my education carrer, people normally just assume that I am rich, and I do not need to concern about the price of anything. This common misconception, don't apply to me. I am very concern of all of my spending. I guess there are many reasons.
My primary reason is that if something is not worth it, and it is not a "need" then I guess I don't need to spend money for it. That is just my point of view about spending, if I'm not going to need something, why buy them? The second reason that I can think of is I'm not like super rich or anything. Just because I go to private school, doesn't mean my parents are beyond rich or something. I go to private school because my parents want me to have the best education and be successful in the future. To me I called my education a good investment. So I expect myself to study hard in order to do good investment. I really can't stand the fact that people spend so much money in school and not trying hard to make their investment in education worth its value. (I guess that's a whole other story, I'll bring that back some other day.) People are having this misconception that private schools equal rich people, BUT what they don't know is that some people in private school are actually in debts, but their parents are willing to invest on their children because they love their children and want they to be successful. (True Story, LOVE how those parents are loving their child!)
The third reason that I can think of is because I want to save some money for my college, since I am pursuing to go to a very expensive college, and I am not sure if I will be able to afford the college fees. The last reason, which is the most important one, I LOVE EXTREME COUPONING.!!! If you watch that show on TLC, you probably have heard that from the extreme couponers in the show. It truly is a really fun thing, and made me feel like I have achieved something. It just gives me a joy when I saved, even if it was just a little bit of money. I love collecting coupons, signing up for e-clubs, and surf through the Internet/Facebook for special offers.
The bottom line here is that, saving is fun, and I LOVE SAVING. And I just want my VOICE BE HEARD!!! Just because I go to private school, doesn't mean I am a spoiled rich girl who spend without thinking.
For the song of the day, I want to relate the money topic to Jessie J.'s Price Tag. Just like the song, I believe no one should be priced because of who they are, and private school students CAN SAVE TOO!!
As always, leave me a comment about anything below, or e-mail me at the e-mail on the right hand side if you are too shy to say things on this blog.
P.S. Maybe, in the future, I'll put some special offers/coupons on the blog to share them with you ANTS! Comment if you like to see that on my blog! :)
